A sales pipeline is used to localize and visualize sales in sales processes. It shows open deals, which phase they are in and which actions need to be taken to achieve individual targets.
Create sales pipelines
To set up sales pipelines in Quentn, please proceed as follows:
- Click on the funnel icon for sales pipelines in the menu on the left
- Click on the green “Add pipeline” button.
- Give your pipeline a title and determine which users are granted access (provided you have created several users, see User management)
Note: Users who do NOT have the right to manage contacts in their role can still edit their opportunities in the pipeline)
- Save and then open your newly created pipeline by clicking either on the title or on the blue “View” button.
- You will now see an empty interface.
General orientation
At the top right of the bar you will find some fields and buttons.
- In the search bar, you can search for specific opportunities in the pipeline
- Under “Active filter” (the icon with the inverted pyramid) you can filter your pipeline by
- users
- Due date
-
Under Table view, you can display your data as a table and sort it.
-
The magnifying glass is the global search: Enter a search term here (at least 3 consecutive letters) to find contacts, campaigns, tags, users, pipelines, opportunities, or emails that contain the term.
- Under “Topic mode” (Sun/Moon) you can switch between day and night mode.
Create stages
Now it's time to create the stages:
- Click on “Add stage” and name the stage.
- Repeat this process until you have set up all the desired stages.
- You can edit each stage by simply clicking on the title again.
The 3-dot menu
Next to each stage title you will find a small symbol with 3 dots. If you click up here, you can
- Add opportunities (you can find instructions in this article)
- Sort the stage by...
- the order in which the opportunities entered the stage (default)
- the target date
- the creation chronologically ascending or descending
- First name (alphabetical)
- Last name (alphabetical)
- highlight the stage in color
- Delete the stage
Symbols at the end of the stage
You will see two more symbols under each stage: Male and lightning.
The number next to the little men indicates how many opportunities are in this stage.
The number next to the lightning bolt shows how many automations are linked to this stage. If you move the mouse over this number (do not click!), you will also see which campaign the automation is in and what it is reacting to.
